Dr. Jose Borrero is an experienced world traveler and surfer. He has been surfing for over 20 years in all varieties of conditions. His experiences include extended travels in Mexico, Central America, Indonesia, Europe, South Pacific, Japan, Papua New Guinea, South America, New Zealand and all over the USA. Currently, Jose's real job was until resently working as a Research Professor at the University of Southern California, studying tsunamis and earthquakes. At present Jose is situated in New Zealand working as a Coastal Engineer Consultant. As a guide, Jose will lead you to the best waves, as well as providing valuable and interesting insight into the geography, geology and culture of the region you are visiting
